Machine for making wooden nocks.
PROCEDURE:
1) Unscrew the grub screw with the appropriate hexagonal spanner and position the drill bit to the desired depth of the nock.
2) Insert the shaft and by rotating it clockwise, push it in as far as it will go (fig. 1.2).
3) Rotate the shaft until the grain of the wood is parallel to the cut we are going to make, once this is done secure the shaft with the set screw and then proceed to remove the excess wood on both sides (fig. 3-4).
4) Remove the shaft and with the rat tail remove the surplus wood up to the bottom of the hole previously
made (fig-5) .
5) With the larger part of the rat tail , create at the bottom of the cut the correct slot
for the size of your string (fig 6) .
Finish everything with very fine sandpaper before painting and finishing .
