The #3 clarifier is recommended for use with a 7X or 8X scope lens. For the target shooter there are 3 different clarifier magnifications available with 1/32", 3/64", 1/16", 3/32", and 1/8" hole sizes. The clarifier will make the target crystal clear allowing you to pick out the details at a distance. The clarifier will work in all the Super Peep Housings. You will need a reducer (753-3) for the 1/4" Super Peep Housings. Specialty Archery recommends use of the 210078 dual hex wrench for inserting clarifiers into your peep. Specialty Archery also recommends Lens Brite Anti Fog Lens Cleaner and Foam Applicator Lens Cleaners for cleaning the lenses.
CAUTION: High powered bows create a great amount of vibration. This may loosen verifiers, clarifiers and apertures over time. Tighten your apertures before each use. If you hear a buzzing sound, this indicates a loose aperture. You may use a drop of Vibra-Tite VC 3 (Part #VC3), Teflon tape, bow wax, or any other non-permanent binding agent on the threads.

For better viewing of the target, inserts with different bore diameters (2, 3, 4, 6 or 8/64") are available with different types of lenses inside them: #1 yellow with a limited corrective factor and suitable for any type of lens, #2 green suitable for intermediate magnifications and #3 red suitable for high magnifications, the use of the latter involves the use of very large aiming points.
To simplify the comparison of bore sizes we have reported all nominal sizes in 64-ths so as to make it clearer that 2/64“ is smaller than a 4/64” etc.

POWER SUGGESTION:
- 2-4X lens = use clarifier #.5 (gold)
- 2-6X lens = use clarifier #1 (yellow)
- 3-8X lens = use clarifier #1.5 (blue)
- 4-8X lens = use clarifier #2 (green)
- 6-8X lens = use clarifier #3 (red)
